You know the best thing about not being 20 yet? You can submit to teenage literary magazines that are fun and have a wide readership and that you really don't want to outgrow. My poem "Her Shifting Eyes" was recently accepted for Teen Ink's online publication and is being considered for the print magazine. You can find it at teenink.com/poetry/free_verse/… if you want to check it out, rate it, comment, whatever. I might eventually end up submitting more there, in which case you can find a link to my Teen Ink profile on that page. As always, thank you all for the support you've given me over the years in all its forms. Without my fexcellent watchers on DA, I would never have progressed nearly as far with my writing. As it stands, you guys get full credit for my recent publication in the Highland Journal and for any and all future publications. (As a side note, I just submitted "Paper Lives" to the New Yorker. I should be notified about that within three months.) So yeah, just a little update on my progress toward getting real-people-published (insert excited squee here) and much gratitude to everyone on DA. I love you all! And I'm sorry if I'm sounding weird or overly excited, but I'm just really happy right now 
Need to Place that Novel?
Hey everyone! I'm working at a publishing house these days. One that focuses on genre fiction, particularly the surreal, speculative, fantastic, etc. It's called the Metaphysical Circus Press and I'm one of the novel editors. So, seeing as how I know there's a fantastic literary community here, I figured I'd leave a link for you guys to take advantage of if you're looking for a press that provides free, continuous marketing and a larger author percentage of profits than just about anywhere. Long time, no see, and I've greatly missed everyone in the DA community. As anyone who would be getting notified about this journal knows, I archived all of my writing on this site when I started actually getting published, as most publishers aren't terrifically thrilled when their writers' work is available for free online through a third party.

A Sad Announcement-- Watchers, Please Read
As those of you who follow my work and journals know, I am a young writer just starting to break into the industry and establish myself. I have a couple forthcoming publications for 2012 and have talked to several other publishers about the possibility of more.
